Manchester United: Hamburg Latest to Be Linked with Starlet Paul Pogba

TalkSPORT today revealed that Hamburg have joined the list of clubs monitoring Paul Pogba's situation at Manchester United.

The 18-year-old French starlet, who joined the Red Devils from Le Havre in 2009, is considered to be one of the most promising youngsters in the United ranks.

He is, however, out of contract next summer and therefore free to discuss deals with other clubs come January.

German side Hamburger SV, who finished a disappointing eighth in last season's Bundesliga, are ready to make a move should the Frenchman fail to agree to a new deal at Old Trafford.

Coach Thorsten Fink has already been successful in capturing Chelsea youngsters Gokhan Tore and Jeffrey Bruma and is reportedly keen to add another to the list.

Pogba has only made two appearances for United thus far, both coming in this years Carling Cup.

It was suggested earlier in the week that Sir Alex Ferguson was confident of keeping him at Old Trafford, but a number of clubs are rumoured to be interested in obtaining his services.

Premiership rivals Arsenal are interested, as are Milan giants AC and Internazionale, so it looks like January will be a busy time for the youngster.
