NFL Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings: Dwayne Bowe and Big Names You Must Sit

Michael DixonNov 19, 2011

Sometimes knowing who to bench is as important as knowing who to play. There is nothing quite so frustrating as expecting a good day from a star, only to get next to nothing.

Well, it's frustrating, but it happens every week. Week 11 will be no exception.

This week, do yourself a favor and at least give benching these guys a second thought. The matchups just aren't great for them to do anything for you.

Dwayne Bowe

While the Chiefs have certainly not had a good season, Bowe has been a reliable fantasy player all season. That's about to change.

With Matt Cassel out for the season, the Chiefs will struggle to complete passes. My guess is that when they do, the passes will go to guys like Jon Baldwin, who Tyler Palko works with more in practice.

Even though I have the Patriots blowing out the Chiefs, forcing them to air it out a little more, I don't see much from Bowe.

Rivers' struggles this year are well documented. He's got more interceptions than any quarterback in the NFL.

While he's still one of the leading passers in the league, he just throws too many picks to be a really valuable fantasy option.

A 13:15 touchdown to interception ratio just doesn't work in the NFL, or on your fantasy team.

Generally speaking, I am fundamentally opposed to advising anyone to bench a running back, especially when bye weeks are still going, the injury season is in full swing and weather is starting to get worse.

Well, the Rams game on Sunday is in a dome, but you get the point. Running back is just not a very deep position.

Well, the Seahawks have a lot of flaws on their team, but their ability to stop the run is not one of them. Actually, they are quite capable there.

I also have to think that the Rams will spend the rest of the year trying to develop Sam Bradford and his passing game, removing the emphasis on the run.
