WWE Survivor Series: John Cena Will Steal the Spotlight at Survivor Series

After seven years away from the ring, The Rock will make his long awaited return to the WWE as a competitor at Survivor Series.

Only to be upstaged by John Cena.

With this being the 25th anniversary of the Survivor Series PPV, WWE is pulling out all the stops and putting the top two faces of the WWE over the past 15 years together.

What The Rock and the WWE brass didn’t take into consideration is just how big of a lightning rod Cena has become.

This is about more than John Cena and The Rock. Fans are tired of the status quo.

While John Cena is a great character and his style is what fans want from their WWE superstars, they are tired of the WWE trying to push the same stars over and over again.

Now when I say John Cena will steal the spotlight, it’s because every single person in Madison Square Garden will be on their feet for John Cena.

Love him or hate him, there will be no person in that building that isn’t voicing their opinion.

Can the same be said about The Rock?

After all of the time away from the sport, a good majority of the people who loved The Rock when he was a star have given up on wrestling or are too young to remember when The Rock was in his prime.

Every fan right now knows about John Cena and what he has done.

The WWE couldn’t have found a better combination of new and old for this match and their match at WrestleMania, but they will be sadly mistaken if they think The Rock will get a bigger reaction than John Cena

The lil jimmies are going to be out in force.
