NFL Week 11 Picks: Carolina Panthers and Teams Bound to Get Crushed
Don't be too surprised on Sunday when you find some credit numbers while perusing NFL box scores on Sunday and Monday. The Week 11 slate is bound to give way to plenty of 'em, with these teams likely to find themselves on the wrong end of a whoopin' here, a smackdown there and generally painful results everywhere.
Carolina Panthers
As Al Jolson once sang, "Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina in the morning." Unfortunately for the Panthers, they'll be far away from home on Sunday, when they wake up in Detroit to play the Lions.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
True, the Lions haven't played well of late, dropping three of their last four while coping with injuries to Jahvid Best and Matthew Stafford.
But as bad as the 37-13 loss to the Bears looks, it still pales in comparison to the flack Cam Newton and company caught in a 30-3 thrashing at the hands of the Tennessee Titans that same day. Newton and Steve Smith would be hard-pressed to find much more success, if any, against a Detroit defense that ranks fourth in the NFL against the pass.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Another NFC North vs. NFC South matchup...another embarrassing result for the latter.
Not much the Buccaneers can do about that. They've dropped their last three games, including a 37-9 shellacking at the hands of the Houston Texans, on account of an impotent offense and an even more inept defense.
And who, pray tell, is Tampa Bay playing this week? Why, Green Bay, of course!
That's right—the Bucs will try to soothe their woes against the defending Super Bowl champs, who come into Sunday at a perfect 9-0 thanks to the unbelievable play of Aaron Rodgers and an opportunistic defense.
Josh Freeman, it's been nice knowin' you.
Kansas City Chiefs
So the Chiefs lose back-to-back home games to the Dolphins (31-3) and the Broncos (17-10), then they lose Matt Cassel to a hand injury and now they have to do what? Play at New England?
Good grief. Well, who's their backup quarterback? Surely, they have someone who's decently competent.
Tyler who? Palko what? He's thrown 13 passes in his NFL career and has bounced around the CFL and the UFL as well?
What about KC's defense? Can they hold up against Tom Brady and the Patriots' terrific tandem of tight ends? Does it matter? I'm going to stop asking questions now and just let you "enjoy" the carnage on Monday night.
