Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups: Carson Palmer and 5 Players to Rescue Your Bye Week

The dreaded bye week has come, and you are in dire straights. You need a player to plug into your roster. Just because it's the bye week though, it's no reason to think you can't win. There are always either good player or at least marginal players with good matchups to be found on the waiver wire.

Carson Palmer might be the most obvious name, but surprisingly he's still available in nearly half of all ESPN leagues. Palmer won't have Jacoby Ford though, but Denarius Moore was his best connection last week anyway. Palmer should be good for 250 yards and a couple of touchdowns this week at Minnesota. 

Jay Cutler is available in 22 percent of ESPN leagues, and he's done considerably better since he's stopped getting sacked. On top of that over the last three weeks, the Chargers have given up the second most points to fantasy QBs. Look for Cutler to tee off on San Diego and get near 300 yards and a couple of scores. 

Maurice Morris is owned in only 47 percent of leagues. He's going against one of the worst run defenses in the NFL this week. While the Lions don't exactly depend on the run a lot, this could be a week where they give Morris a better-than-normal chance. He should be good for about 70 yards and find the end zone once. 

Jackie Battle is available in almost 45 percent of leagues. With Tyler Palko at the quarterback, the Chiefs are likely to depend more on the running game. Battle is more likely to get the most of those touches. He should be able to pound out 75 yards just on volume, and he might find the end zone. 

Laurent Robinson has been getting more and more in Tony Romo's sights the last few weeks, finding the end zone four times in three games. Look for him to get there again, along with another 70 receiving yards.
