NFL Week 11 Picks: Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks and More Shocking Upsets
Thanks to Tim Tebow, the first upset of Week 11 has already come to pass. The Denver Broncos were 6.5-point underdogs coming into the game, but someone forgot to account for Tebow-time. If you saw that one coming, you picked it right.
Tebow won't be the only quarterback to get a win for a dog, though. There are going to be some other upsets to keep your eye on.
Oakland Raiders over Minnesota Vikings
1 of 4The Oakland Raiders are surprisingly listed as even against the hometown Minnesota Vikings, but this game is not going to be close. The Raiders offense is firing on all cylinders, but none of them are the cylinders you thought they'd be at the beginning of the season.
Carson Palmer to Denarius Moore was a huge connection last week. This week look for more of the same, and look for more Michael Bush too.
The Vikings can ponder this all day, but they aren't going to be in the contest.
Raiders 27, Vikings 10
Buffalo Bills over Miami Dolphis
2 of 4Miami is winning now and Buffalo is losing. Miami is at home. There's every reason to think that Miami is going to win. Well, except for one. The Buffalo Bills are actually a better team. The Dolphins wins have come against bad teams; the Bills wins have come against good teams.
Buffalo will win this game handily. Ryan Fitzpatrick will get back on track. Fred Jackson will top 150 yards in total offense. Miami will return to normal.
Buffalo 24, Miami 17.
Seattle Seahawks over St. Louis Rams
3 of 4If Marshawn Lynch ran over the Baltimore Ravens, what's he going to do to the far less imposing St. Louis Rams who are dead last in the NFL against the run. This one is going to be brutal folks. Lynch is going to need a new pair of shoes after this one. The old ones are going to get worn out.
On the other side of the ball, the weak Seahawks pass defense won't have much to worry about from the anemic Rams passing offense. This game won't be pretty unless your Lynch.
Seattle 17, St. Louis 10.
Philadelphia Eagles over New York Giants
4 of 4This one is a big of a long shot, but I have a gut feeling on this one. If Michael Vick isn't able to finish the game then the Eagles actually could upset the Giants on Sunday night. Young is the type of player that can give defenses fits, especially if they haven't prepared for him.
If the Eagles defense can keep things close and Vick goes out, don't be surprised to see Young come in late and win the game for the Eagles. They have no more room to lose, and I think they'll have enough fight left in them to win.
Eagles 24, Giants 21.
