WWE Survivor Series 2011: Dolph Ziggler Will Be Star of 10-Man Tag Match
One of the great things about the traditional Survivor Series tag-team matches is that it gives some lesser-known WWE wrestlers their first opportunity to shine on a big stage. This year's show only features one of those matches, but the star of it will be Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler was a late addition to this match after Christian went down with an ankle injury. As much as I like Christian, I think that Ziggler's presence in the match is the best thing that could have happened for WWE.
Despite being the United States champion and being associated with Vickie Guerrero, who might be the best heel in the company, Ziggler has been made to look like a joke by the WWE creative team, and the fans have not bought into him as a result.

But whenever Ziggler has been given a chance to work with top guys and have time to put together a good match, he has shined. Two months ago on Raw against Randy Orton, Ziggler had one of the best performances of his career.
Now, on the biggest WWE show of the year besides WrestleMania, Ziggler has another chance to showcase his ability. Survivor Series has made a lot of careers in the previous 24 years, including The Rock's, so Ziggler will have his chance to prove that he can be a top guy.
Even if Ziggler does not win this match, which I doubt he will, he can showcase his amazing in-ring ability to the powers that be in WWE and make them put him in a better position.
One of the biggest criticisms of WWE today is a tremendous lack of star power and good workers, but Ziggler is going to put himself in both categories after he steals the show in the Survivor Series tag-team match.
It will not happen soon, but there is going to come a day when Ziggler is wrestling in pay-per-view main events; that's how talented he is.
