Tim Tebow: Week 11 Fantasy Outlook for Broncos' QB

Nicholas GossNov 17, 2011

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow will run over the overrated New York Jets on Thursday night in a crucial Week 11 matchup for both teams, and you must start him on your fantasy football team.

Despite much criticism, Tebow is 3-1 this season as a starter. He has however, not yet faced a defense like the Jets thus far this season.

A week after the Jets got destroyed by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, they now have to face the opposite of Brady in Tebow.

Let's look at Tebow's fantasy outlook for his Week 11 game against the Jets.

Jets Defense Will Suffer on Shortened Week

The NFL screwed the Jets by giving them a Sunday night game and then a Thursday night game the following week, while in the process making them travel two-thirds of the way across the country to a city where the air is quite tough to handle.

Tebow is tough to game-plan for because of his running ability, and with limited rest and a lot of travel, the Jets will be tired and won't be able to withstand the physical style of play that makes Tebow special.

Tebow Will Run Over Bart Scott and the Jets Linebackers

Tebow is built like a linebacker, and the Jets defense and certainly older players such as Bart Scott are not as quick or strong as they used to be.

Tebow will run over Scott on Thursday night, and won't have trouble getting through the Jets defensive line that is void of a run stuffing nose tackle like Kris Jenkins.

The Jets defensive line is not as dominant this year as it was the past two seasons, and as a defense, it allow 116 rushing yards per game.

Tebow has ran the ball at least nine times per game the last four weeks, and is averaging 6.7 yards per carry.

I "can't wait" for Tebow to meet Scott one-on-one in the open field Thursday night.

Tebow Will Silence the Loudmouth Jets

The Jets are overrated, let's face it. They talked about winning the Super Bowl prior to the season, yet they are one loss away from being in real danger of missing the playoffs altogether.

Tebow and the Broncos are close to tying the Oakland Raiders atop the AFC West division.

After watching Brady and the Patriots destroy the Jets through the air last week, it's not crazy to think Tebow can't have success in the passing game this week.

Tebow has some quality pass-catchers to throw to like receiver Eric Decker, and Broncos coach John Fox will let Tebow throw the ball more than eight times against the Jets.

Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Tim Tebow vs. Mark Sanchez

Start the "Sanchise" if you want to see your team lose.

Mark Sanchez is terrible, I cannot describe it any other way. In his third NFL season, he has not developed into a quarterback who can lead a Super Bowl-caliber team.

Tebow will gain at least 200 total yards this week, and he has done that in three of the last four games.

He has seven total touchdowns in his last four games, and against a tired Jets defense, he will score at least two touchdowns on Thursday night.

Start Tebow tonight!
