WWE Survivor Series 2011: The Rock and John Cena Will Have Surprise in Store

Gabe ZaldivarNov 17, 2011

The Rock and John Cena will team up, and that my friends will be just the beginning.

The pay-per-view subscriptions will rise as a former superstar comes back into the ring, answering the prayers of fans that have since left the WWE.

The biggest name in sports entertainment has fallen on meager times, as only the hardcore fans remain. Well, those flirting with the idea of getting back into the WWE would be well served, because one of the best story lines is about to unfold.

At least, that is my hope.

All of the ingredients are there to make the main event of Survivor Series an epic one. You have the current No. 1 guy in John Cena teaming up with one of the greatest of all time in The Rock.

Their job is to thwart the brash young guns that have been taking over the WWE and causing a ruckus in doing so. The Miz needs to get his and he will be duly served in this match.

I don't see how a one-off tag team match of this magnitude wouldn't be won by Cena and The Rock.

I think it will be a long battle that will culminate in The Rock and Cena destroying The Miz and R-Truth. The Awesome Truth will be nothing more than a farce by the end.

But that is where things will get good. As WrestleMania XXVIII looms in the background, The Rock and John Cena are bound to give us a taste of what is in store.

It could be an errant elbow during the end of the tag team match, or perhaps it will be a shove from one of the two superstars.

Either way, there is no way The Rock and John Cena leave in a friendly embrace at Survivor Series. Something will happen to fuel this feud to record heights. I can't wait to see just exactly what it is.
