Michael Vick Injury: Will Vince Young See the Field in Week 11?
As we draw closer to Week 11 of NFL action, it appears more likely that Michael Vick won't be under center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
"Despite OC Marty Mornhinweg's optimism, the Allentown Morning Call's Nick Fierro insists Michael Vick (ribs) will not play against the Giants," says the report on Vick's Rotoworld page.
The report goes on.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
""Don't care how tough Vick is," emphasizes Fierro. "He ain't playing Sunday. Just saw him a minute ago. He could barely walk." Though Fierro's sentiment is the strongest, none of the gaggle of Eagles beat writers believes Vick will play. He doesn't have a history of starting after going the entire practice week without offensive reps.
"
Barring a minor miracle, it seems quite clear that Michael Vick won't be playing football this weekend. That much is clear.
But who will replace the explosive quarterback?
Will it be Vince Young, who everyone assumes is the clear No. 2 in Philly? Or will it be Mike Kafka, who took over for Vick earlier in the season?
Again, according to Rotoworld, the answer seems pretty clear.
""Vince Young took all of the first-team reps in Thursday's practice," the report states. "Young's teammates fully expect him to start against the Giants. DeSean Jackson and pass rusher Jason Babin approached V.Y. in the locker room after practice to let him know 'how good he looked' in the offense."
"
Earlier in the week there was talk that Young was splitting first-team reps with Mike Kafka, but it appears that isn't the case anymore.
Vince Young is going to get his chance to start.
Against a Giants defense that is giving up 240 passing yards per game and will likely concentrate on LeSean McCoy, Young should not only get to see the field but should have a nice game.
I'd put him right on the fringe of the Top 12 for quarterbacks this week. If you have injuries or untimely bye weeks, start him with confidence.
