WWE Survivor Series 2011: Family Business Won't Keep John Cena from Main Event

If you're worried about John Cena not being able to make the main event of the WWE Survivor Series 2011, I suggest you take a chill pill, a few deep breaths and calm down.

Many people are worried that Cena may be running into some personal issues that could conflict with the main event after he apparently had to cancel an appearance on ESPN's College Gameday.

Here is a tweet that Cena put out confirming the cancellation, but also revealing that it was for a personal matter:

When news broke of the cancellation many speculated that it was the WWE pulling Cena out for training purposes, or any other variety of business reasons, but the fact that it is apparently a personal family reason has many fans worried.

It must have been an important family matter for Cena to cancel an appearance with ESPN. Over the last few years, the WWE has really worked hard at developing a relationship with ESPN to promote their product through appearances from popular superstars.

Cena, who makes more appearances than any other WWE employee, would have obviously been promoting the upcoming PPV Survivor Series and the ongoing feud with The Rock, which will culminate in a match at WrestleMania 28 on Sunday April 1, 2012. As of now, the WWE is still leaning toward not having this WM 28 main event for the WWE title. Additionally, there's a growing opinion that The Rock will do the job to Cena as a sign of passing the torch.

Cena is a great public relations guy for the WWE, so obviously this was somewhat of a serious matter that drew him away.

That being said, I wouldn't worry if I were a wrestling fan.

Perhaps the situation may be serious, even though I hope that it isn't, but either way Cena is known for his hard work and dedication to the sport.

This is the main event of one of the biggest wrestling extravaganza's of the year, and it simply wouldn't work without him.

I firmly believe that Cena knows that, and in the end he will take care of business and be center stage at the main event.
