Fantasy Football Week 11: Josh Freeman and the Five Best Values

Kelly ScalettaNov 17, 2011

Salary Cap football is different from draft and trade football in the sense that you can take any player you want, provided you have the trades. Often the trick is getting that "sleeper" who gives you the highest return on your investment.

All the values given are based on Fireleague values.

Josh Freeman: $4.04 million

Josh Freeman hasn't had the year most people thought he'd have, but this week he has an excellent opportunity to shine.

Between the inevitable fact that the Buccaneers will be behind early and the Green Bay Packers have a less-than-stellar pass defense, rest assured Freeman will throw early and often.

Don't be surprised with 300 yards passing, 30 rushing and three total TDs.

Marshawn Lynch: $4.64 million

Lynch's power is devastating, and this week he has an opportunity to brutalize one of he worst run defenses in the NFL. If he ran over Baltimore, what's he going to do in St. Louis?

Look for 140 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns from the Seahawks power back this week.

Michael Bush: $2.88 Milliion

Darren Whofadden? Michael Bush has made Darren McFadden a forgotten figure. His numbers have been downright prodigious in the No. 1 back's absence. He's added over 150 scrimmage yards a game and a touchdown in his two fill-ins.

Look for more of the same against a Vikings defense that is not as stout as it used to be.

Earl Bennett: $3.36 million

Bennett has been Jay Cutler's favorite target since coming back from his injury. San Diego has been the second-most generous team to opposing wide receivers over the last three weeks.

This is a clear case of one plus one equals two. Look for the former Vanderbilt teammates to connect a lot this weekend, and at least once for a TD.

Denarius Moore, $0.57 million

Easily the best bargain of the season.

When a team makes a quarterback change, it's always interesting to look out for who the biggest connection is with and clearly Carson Palmer and Moore are going to be hooking up a lot more.

Watch for him to post another 100 yards and a touchdown against the Vikings.
