NFL Week 11 Picks: Looking at the Week's Surest Bets

Zach KruseNov 17, 2011

According to the lines in Vegas, these teams should be surest bets during Week 11 of the NFL season:

New England Patriots (-15) over Kansas City Chiefs

Vegas is always big on the Patriots, and they face a quarterback in Tyler Palko this week who has yet to make an NFL start. After finding their way on defense last week against the Jets, the Patriots should be big winners on Monday night.

Green Bay Packers (-14) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers

No defense, whether respected or not, has been able to stop the Packers this season. Is there reason to think the Buccaneers 29th ranked defense can do anything to slow Aaron Rodgers and Co. on Sunday?

San Francisco 49ers (-9.5) over Arizona Cardinals

Vegas still doesn't believe in John Skelton, who has led the Cards to two straight wins. He may find things a little more difficult this week in going up against one the NFL's best defenses.

Dallas Cowboys (-7.5) over Washington Redskins

At this point, it's clear that the Redskins have the NFL's worst offense. It doesn't matter whether John Beck or Rex Grossman is leading it. The Cowboys, who have won two straight, should feast.

Detroit Lions (-7) over Carolina Panthers

Despite being blown out by the Bears last week, the Lions find themselves as a touchdown favorite over the Panthers. It helps that Carolina also was torn apart last week at home. Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson should get back on track.

Baltimore Ravens (-7) over Cincinnati Bengals

Andy Dalton was solid in a loss to the Steelers, but the Ravens are better against the pass and Dalton might not have A.J. Green. Without his top receiver, the Ravens should cruise.
