NFL Power Rankings: Predicting Which Teams Will Continue Freefalls
The San Diego Chargers and Philadelphia Eagles both had high expectations entering the 2011 NFL season and neither squad has lived up to the hype.
After 10 weeks the Chargers are 4-5 and in the midst of a four-game losing streak, while the Eagles are 3-6, having lost two straight and may be without their $100 million quarterback for the near future.
The Chargers have been a mess all season long, with a combination of injuries and bad luck pushing an already-scuffling team to the brink.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Quarterback Philip Rivers has struggled mightily this season, throwing 13 touchdowns against 15 interceptions. To be fair to the 29-year-old signal caller, he has been under near-constant pressure, and the play calling from head coach Norv Turner hasn't helped at all.
At this point the Chargers would need a miracle to turn things around. As it stands, I think they'll continue their losing ways on the road against the Chicago Bears this weekend. If things continue the way they have, Turner will almost surely lose his job and major changes will come to San Diego.
The Eagles are similarly facing a big overhaul if things don't turn around. This weekend they face a scrappy New York Giants team that is itching to get a piece of the "Dream Team."
Philadelphia could be without quarterback Michael Vick, who fractured two ribs on Sunday, and even if he does play there is no way he'll be anywhere close to 100 percent.
With the joke of a season the Eagles have had so far, I don't see any hope for them turning things around. Sure, they might give the Giants a good game on Sunday night, but expecting this Philadelphia team to win is just simply putting far too much faith in it.
