Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups: Cleveland Browns and More Good Defenses to Stream
I'm a fan of streaming defenses. It can get you into trouble, but it's worth it to draft some extra players at the beginning of the year.
Particularly when the weather cools, some games are reliably low scoring. Even if the winning team and losing teams are incorrectly predicted, the points are pretty reliable.
In this case, the lack of points are reliable.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Every one of these teams will give you nice totals this week.
Cleveland Browns
The Browns are 3-6 in spite of their defensive effort, not because of it. They have absolutely no offense, but are facing a mirror image of themselves this week. More on that later.
With the exception of Maurice Jones-Drew, the Jaguars are just not a dangerous offensive team. I like Blaine Gabbert, but the Jaguars have been cautious with him. The Browns also have a strong secondary.
The Browns will be a nice addition to any fantasy rosters this week.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Surprise, surprise. I think this will be a low scoring game. Both teams are available in the majority of ESPN leagues, and both will be good point-getters this week.
Basically, this will be a low scoring game with few points scored. Why are the Jaguars so valuable? They have a strong secondary and the Browns only real threat is Josh Cribbs. They can shut him down.
They are available in more than 90 percent of fantasy leagues, despite putting up pretty solid totals recently.
If they aren't facing a really strong offense, the Jaguars are a nice play.
Denver Broncos
You can't be more surprised reading it than I was typing it, I can promise you that. But in recent weeks, the Broncos have actually put up decent fantasy totals on defense. More importantly, the Jets offense has surrendered some massive numbers this season.
In Denver, I expect a sneaky good defensive day. They may not be overwhelming, but the points will be there when the game is over. Win, lose or draw, the Broncos will perform.
