NFL Picks Week 11: Road Teams You Can Count on
Picking a team to win on the road in the NFL is like trying to play an Elder Scrolls game without a strategy guide. You're asking for trouble.
But on occasion, one can poke blindly at the controls and end up getting lucky. After all, it's not like we never see teams win on the road in the NFL. The trick is to educate yourself, and then use that education to make educated guesses.
Or you could just listen to me. I have my own ideas about which road teams you can rely on in Week 11. In fact, here are four that are going to win outright

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Note: all spreads according to Sportsbook.
Jacksonville Jaguars (-1) at Cleveland Browns
If the Jaguars can beat the Indianapolis Colts on the road, they can beat anybody on the road.
Okay fine, maybe not anybody, but they can certainly beat the Browns. They don't have the worst record in the NFL, but the Browns really aren't that much better than the Colts. They have virtually no offense to speak of, and their poor rush defense is in for a long afternoon against Maurice Jones-Drew.
It's not going to be a blowout. Lucky for you, it doesn't have to be.
Jaguars 14, Browns 10
Oakland Raiders (-1) at Minnesota Vikings
The Raiders are in the driver's seat in the AFC West, and they're probably going to stay there. The rest of the division doesn't seem very interested in keeping up the fight.
That said, the Raiders are going to be in for a challenge against the Vikings. They'll be able to score on Minnesota's defense, but Adrian Peterson is going to inflict horrors on an Oakland rush defense that is pretty lousy.
But A.D.'s efforts won't be enough. The Vikings will need something from Christian Ponder, and he's in for a tough afternoon against Oakland's beastly defensive line.
Raiders 28, Vikings 21
Dallas Cowboys (-8) at Washington Redskins
They've won two straight games in pretty convincing fashion, but I'm not entirely sure the Cowboys are reliable just yet.
I'll change my mind after they dispatch the Redskins, and it's not going to be close. Their offense is pretty much nonexistent, and it's not going to improve against a tough Cowboys defense.
This is, of course, assuming Rex Grossman doesn't turn into Aaron Rodgers. My money is on that not happening.
Cowboys 24, Redskins 10
Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams (-2)
The Seahawks just beat the Ravens, yet here they are as two-point underdogs against the Rams.
Some teams just can't get no respect.
The indication here is that the Rams are going to build on the success they've enjoyed in the last three weeks, as they've won two of three games. I'm open to the idea, but I'm also open to the idea that the Seahawks could come in and put the Rams back in their place.
The Seahawks are not a good team, but I'll wager that they're better than the Rams. We'll be reminded of that on Sunday.
Seahawks 17, Rams 14
