Mike McQueary Interview: CBS Evening News Features Penn State Coach
A day after Jerry Sandusky shocked the nation in his interview with Bob Costas, Mike McQueary will be featured in a CBS Evening News interview Tuesday night.
If you want to see the second-most riveting interview on TV this week, you can do so by tuning into CBS at 6:30 p.m. ET/ 5:30 Central. Armen Keteyian will handle the interview that everyone is sure to be talking about.
On Monday, Jerry Sandusky was featured on Rock Center. The alleged monster that has been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse on minors exacerbated his poor image with the nation.
His answers were unsure and served to only strengthen people's opinions of him as a pedophile. We are about to see if a similar fate is in store for Mike McQueary.
McQueary is the current receivers coach at Penn State that was a graduate assistant in 2002 when he allegedly found Sandusky raping a 10-year-old boy.
The grand jury report asserts that McQueary merely ran from the scene and later informed his father and later Joe Paterno. Many have wondered how he never intervened to stop the act, and then failed to notify police officials.
The answer to the two most difficult questions will come shortly. It may be that McQueary is finally ready to set the record straight and tell his side of the story.
There has recently been an email sent to former Penn State players that has leaked. It states among other things that he "made sure it stopped."
On Tuesday, we will finally hear from another person that has received a bulk of the nation's scorn. We may know shortly if it is even warranted.
