Week 11 Waiver Wire: Grab Roy Helu and Vincent Brown

There are two players available in most fantasy football leagues that could make a big difference for your team as we approach the playoffs.

Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu is currently available in 47.4 percent of ESPN leagues and you need to take advantage. The rookie out of Nebraska has worked his way into being the team's main guy out of the backfield and the results should start coming quickly.

This past Sunday Helu had 54 yards on nine touches, but in Week 9 he racked up 146 yards on 24 carries. He is big, fast and has excellent hands, which means he can be on the field in all situations.

I expect Helu to start performing at a consistently high level very soon.

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Brown has also had a big past two weeks, piling up nine catches for 177 and a touchdown. The rookie out of San Diego State has been poised for a breakout all season, and he finally had one last Thursday night against the Oakland Raiders, snagging five catches for 97 yards and a touchdown.

Brown showed incredible athleticism and instincts, hauling in several tough catches. He also had another touchdown called back after a questionable replay decision.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has struggled this season, but he clearly has faith in Brown, who he targeted repeatedly on Thursday night. All season the Chargers coaches and players have been praising Brown's work ethic and ability and it has finally shown in games.

The Chargers are in need of a boost and Brown might be the guy to provide it. That could mean great things for your fantasy team if you grab him.
