NFL Week 11 Picks: Predicting the Week's Biggest Winners

Chris TrapassoNov 15, 2011

Every win is big in the NFL, but as we enter the final seven games of the year with all the tight divisional races, each game's importance is magnified.

These teams will come away with huge victories this week that will help them in the hunt for the postseason.

Oakland Raiders over Minnesota Vikings

The AFC West is a mess right now, with the Raiders beating the Chargers on the road after losing two straight to the Chiefs and Broncos at home.

Their running game will be the difference for the remainder of the season. It doesn't matter if it's Michael Bush or Darren McFadden, both are extremely physical runners and their offensive line does a great job paving the way for whoever is carrying the football.

The Vikings should get a big game out of Adrian Peterson, as the Raiders allow a whopping 5.2 yards per carry.

However, Minnesota's receiving corps isn't dangerous enough and Carson Palmer has improved in each of his games as the team's starter.

This one is close, but the Raiders win by a field goal.

Dallas Cowboys over Washington Redskins

The Cowboys should beat the Redskins handily on Sunday, which wouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

However, gaining another divisional win will be huge and after what should be a blowout, the Cowboys will have more confidence than they've had all season.

For a team that's gone through as much as the Cowboys have while Tony Romo has been behind center, momentum is extremely important.

Chicago Bears over San Diego Chargers

The Bears have been on a roll over the last month. They're the current No. 5 seed in the NFC playoffs and get a struggling San Diego team at home this week. Philip Rivers is easily having his worst season as professional and his offensive line is plagued with injury.

A great matchup for the Bears, with Peppers rushing the passer and the opportunistic secondary will be a handful for Rivers.

Don't forget about Matt Forte, either.

They should move to 7-3 with a firm grip on one of the wild-card spots.

Another detrimental loss for the Chargers.
