Top 5 Shots of the 2011 Paris Masters
The ATP 1000 Masters tournament in Paris was memorable, not only for Roger Federer's historic win, but for the many amazing matches and shots that were played.
Although some of the shot-makers went on to lose their matches, they certainly still made some highlight reel shows.
These are the top five shots from the tournament last week. Enjoy.
5. Roger Laughs at His Own Winner
1 of 5It's no mystery that Roger is incredible at the game of tennis, but even he had to laugh at his luck on this point, one that he had no right winning in the end.
4. Gasquet Pleases the Home Crowd
2 of 5In Richard Gasquet's first match back on the court in six weeks, he surely pleased the partisan French crowd watching over him.
3. Federer with Yet Another Backhand Pass
3 of 5When Federer lobs to his opponents and makes them run back, he almost always wins the point.
When his opponents lob to him and make him attempt a winner, he usually nails it.
This is another example of Roger's greatness. Check out his 180-degree, spin-around backhand, cross-court passing shot in the final.
2. Richard Gasquet Managed to Hit a Better Shot Than Roger Federer
4 of 5Well done, Richard, well done (even though he struck it with all his might and a fully extended arm, making it appear somewhat lucky).
1. And the Unexpected Top Shot of the Tournament Goes To...
5 of 5The main picture of this slideshow very blatantly gave away the answer to who would hold the No. 1 spot on the list.
Michael Llodra could have won this point many times, but Feliciano Lopez simply outclassed him on this one.
