Fabio Santos Video: Watch Stud's Epic Leaping Fail After Goal
Apparently, Fabio Santos forgot that he was playing futbol, not football, when he attempted a Lambeau Leap of his after scoring a spectacular goal for Vitoria of Brazil's Serie B in a 3-1 win over Criciuma this past weekend.
Frankly, had Santos decided to celebrate his score any other way, he still would've ended up a YouTube sensation, with folks like myself bringing his moment of football brilliance to the masses. After all, hitting a backwards header on a ball in from well outside the box is reason enough to turn out a few hundred words.
Thankfully, though, Santos was bold enough and daring enough to make this particular picture worth a thousand, though I'll spare you too long-winded of a description here.

He did quite well hurdling the advertisements around the pitch, thereby showing off his considerable hops as an underrated track and field athlete and, to be fair, that wall he attempted to latch onto was rather tall. For him to pull off the celebration as planned, while also clearing a row of Sanford Stadium-style hedges would've been a tremendous highlight in and of itself, worth many more style points than any Wayne Rooney bicycle kick.
Or not.
Either way, Santos gets an "A" for effort, adventurousness and creativity, which should help to take the edge off the "C+" he gets for execution.
Not to mention all the scratches on his legs from his leap into the bushes.
