Matt Cassel Injury: Updates on Chiefs QB's Week 11 Status and Fantasy Value
Matt Cassel's season may be over. The Chiefs' QB suffered a "significant hand injury" in the Chiefs loss to the Broncos on Sunday. And the Chiefs' injury-plagued season just went from bad to worse.
After all, the following is a fate that no NFL teams wants to have.
Chiefs coach Todd Haley acknowledged the severity of the injury with this statement.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This is horrible news for the Chiefs. They have a daunting finish to their regular season.
Check out the Chiefs remaining schedule:
Week 11: at Patriots
Week 12: Steelers
Week 13 at Bears
Week 14: at Jets
Week 15: Packers
Week 16: Raiders
Week 17: at Broncos
The Chiefs currently sit at 4-5. The good news about this injury is that it frees them up to start planning for next year because they aren't going anywhere this season.
Fantasy Value
Obviously, Cassel's fantasy value is shot. He is also taking his offensive teammates with him.
Teams will stack the box to stop the run and this will destroy RB Jackie Battle's value. WR Dwayne Bowe will still get the majority of the passes, but those passes are not going to be as accurate.
Bowe still holds some value, but he should not be considered a starting lock as he is set to receive some erratic QB play.
