Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin expressed concern about his chances of playing in Week 11 after sustaining shoulder and hamstring injuries against the Arizona Cardinals.

The Eagles are a team in turmoil and will struggle to overcome the New York Giants in a must-win game if Maclin is unable to play.

UPDATE: Saturday, Nov. 19, 2:20 p.m. ET by Donald Wood

While his numbers would have suffered this week without Michael Vick in the lineup, fantasy owners and the Philadelphia Eagles will have to look elsewhere for help because Maclin is out.

Fox NFL Insider Jay Glazer is reporting on twitter about Maclin and Vick’s status for Sunday’s game against the Giants:

Fantasy owners should look to DeSean Jackson to get more touches and expect bumps with Jason Avant and Steve Smith. Start those receivers only in deeper leagues.

Geoff Mosher covers the Eagles for The News Journal of Wilmington, and he tweeted the latest news on Maclin and other players.

Maclin is a playmaker, and the Eagles would be in a very tough spot if he isn't able to play on Sunday. At this point, it doesn't look all that good for Maclin, and if he's on your fantasy team it would be wise to find a replacement for the time being.

Nothing is set in stone, so continue to check for updates throughout the week. If Maclin misses practice again on Thursday it will be a very bad sign.

Jeff McLane, Eagles beat reporter for the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports on Twitter that Maclin has an AC shoulder sprain to go along with his nagging hamstring injury. He doesn't say how the injury will affect Maclin's playing status, however.

With Michael Vick battling his own significant injury and DeSean Jackson attempting to work his way back into the coaching staff's good graces, things couldn't be going much worse for Philadelphia. It appears the Eagles were smart to shrug off the Dream Team moniker during training camp.
