Rex Ryan Curses at Fan: Should Ryan Be Considered Classless?

"Hey Rex, Bill Belchick is better than you."

The fan in the video certainly got that one right—at this point in time, Bill Belichick is better than Rex Ryan, you cannot deny it after the New England Patriots' 37-16 thrashing of the New York Jets. 

Typically when coaches and players exit the field, fans always have something to say but rarely do coaches have something to say back. It's even more rare that we're fortunate enough to have footage of it on YouTube. 

As the Jets' players and coaches were exiting the field, one fan decided to let Rex know that Belichick is a better coach than him, so how did Sexy Rexy reply?

"Shut the f*** up!"

Whoa, that's a little over the top Rex, but I understand, you just got your lunch handed to you in your own building by Belichick and his boys. You might as well start kissing Belichick's rings. 

Am I surprised by this? No, Rex is an outspoken guy and really doesn't have a sense of boundaries. Ryan's arrogance and sometimes idiotic behavior and bold statements have always risen eyebrows—not to mention how his team has behaved under his power. The Jets sure love their trash talk.

Is this a classless move by Rex? Quite frankly, I think it is.

There is no excuse for even acknowledging a fan that's clearly trying to get a rise out of you—Rexy fell right into his trap. Now, this fan has the video posted in YouTube and just about every major media site out there will be sure to get their hands on it. 

Don't get me wrong, Rex Ryan is a great head coach but this incident does not surprise me; I have always known that Rex wears his emotions on his sleeve.
