Vikings vs. Packers: Why Aaron Rodgers Will Continue Running Away with MVP
While a number of players have emerged as the best in the league through 10 weeks of the NFL season, only one has made the most convincing argument as to why he's worthy of the Most Valuable Player Award, and that's Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers are undefeated heading into tonight's contest against the Minnesota Vikings. There's one reason why they've managed to keep winning and one reason why they'll emerge victorious tonight, and that's Rodgers.
Without Rodgers, who knows what kind of team the Packers would be. Certainly, there are a number of talented receivers on the Green Bay roster, and their offensive line is one of the best in the league, but it's Rodgers who has been the team's driving force since they entered the playoffs in 2010 as the NFC's No. 6 seed.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
So far this season, Rodgers has completed a highly impressive 72.5 percent of his passes, for 2,619 yards and 24 touchdowns to a mere three interceptions. His passer rating sits at 129.1, completing 192 passes to 13 different receivers as the head of the NFL's most effective offense.
Rogers' impressive play has masked all kinds of problems that the Packers have had on defense and in their run game; without him, there's little chance that Green Bay would be undefeated right now.
The Most Valuable Player should be a member of the NFL's most dominant team, and thus, through 10 weeks, a member of the Packers should get that nod.
Rodgers is without a doubt the driving factor behind the Packers' streak of dominance, and as such, there's little chance that any of the impressive performances put up by other players this season would overtake Rodgers' considerable achievements.
Tonight's outing against the Vikings should only further solidify Rogers' MVP status. While Minnesota gave the Packers a run for their money in their first meeting this season, losing 33-27 in quarterback Christian Ponder's regular season debut, it won't be as close a game tonight at Lambeau.
Another 30 or more points, 300 or more yards and at least four touchdowns are easily within Rodgers' grasp tonight as the Packers extend their undefeated streak for yet another week.
