Fantasy Football Rankings Week 11: Tim Tebow and QB's Destined to Shine Bright
A quarterback can easily make or break a fantasy football player, especially if one is counting on said quarterback to deliver double digit points.
A sloppy performance from a quarterback almost always results in a fantasy football loss, and nobody likes to lose in fantasy football because you're playing you family members, friends and or co-workers.
Bragging rights at the dinner table, poker table or office water cooler can be the highlight of one's week, especially if it's a close victory.
With Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Schaub all on a bye this week, the rankings for top quarterbacks are sure to shake up.
Here are three QBs certain to shine in Week 11.
Tim Tebow
The Denver Broncos' quarterback didn't have an overly impressive stat line, but he got the victory, plus a solid fantasy performance in Week 10 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In Week 11, Tebow and the Broncos will host the New York Jets, and even though it's short week, he will still thrive in the fantasy football world.
The Jets are allowing 116 rushing yards per game, and they are always in danger of giving up the deep ball. Darrelle Revis is a fantastic cornerback, but he can't cover everybody.
Tebow will greatly benefit from playing at home, getting it done on the ground and finding the end zone in more ways than one, which will result in a great fantasy day.
The dual threat quarterback always flourishes in fantasy football.
Aaron Rodgers
The Green Bay Packers top player still has a chance to be the top overall fantasy player for Week 10 when he takes on the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.
But looking ahead to Week 11, Rodgers will then battle the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Green Bay, and he is going to have a stellar performance.
The Buccaneers rank No. 28 in the NFL against the pass, which means Rodgers won't have any trouble dominating the stat sheet.
He's a fantasy freak this year, and a lock to not just start every week, but also be one of the top QB's.
Cam Newton
Again, dual threat quarterbacks are gold in fantasy football. Newton struggled in Week 10, posting his worst fantasy football score of the year, but he will bounce back in Week 11.
Newton and the Carolina Panthers must hit the road this weekend to take on a slumping Detroit Lions team. While the Lions defense will be after Newton all game long, he will still come through for his fantasy owners.
The Lions rank No. 27 in the NFL against the run, and Newton just so happens to be a good portion of the Panthers rush attack.
I don't see Newton having a 300 plus passing performance against the Lions' No. 4 pass defense, but he'll still connect with Steve Smith for a touchdown, which will help his fantasy total.
But as always, never doubt a quarterback in fantasy football that is so dangerous with his legs.
Rounding out my top five for fantasy quarterbacks in Week 11 are Tom Brady at home against the Kansas City Chiefs and Eli Manning at home against an arch rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, whom Manning torched for four touchdowns the first time they played each other this season.
