Olivia Munn and Brad Richards: Rangers Star Loving New York Lifestyle

Living in New York City has its perks.

You get to live in the “City that never sleeps.” You are on center stage every single night when you put on that Rangers jersey. And you get the chance to date Hollywood celebrities like Oliva Munn.  

According to the New York Post, “The actress dined with New York Ranger Brad Richards at Spasso in the West Village on Thursday and then went to the game at MSG on Friday. It isn’t clear if Munn and Richards are dating, but he would likely make a more chivalrous boyfriend.” 

By more chivalrous boyfriend, the Post is referring to director Brett Ratner’s words about the actress and his relationship.  

But having a hockey player—a Canadian hockey player at that—is the perfect way for this starlet to rebound. Just look at what he did for her, taking her to a dinner then inviting her to his game.

I’m sure she got some pretty nice seats as well and was allowed to invite a guest.  

In that game, Richards had a goal and an assist in front of his potential new girlfriend, as his Rangers won convincingly over the Carolina Hurricanes 5-1.  

Was it a coincidence that Richards played so well with Munn in the house? Before that outburst, Richards had only one multiple-point game. 

That looks to be so, as before Friday’s game Richards was struggling in his last five, only scoring one goal.  

It’s worked in the past for some players. Nashville Predators Mike Fisher is married to country music superstar Carrie Underwood. Before his career was put to a stop by a hip injury, Mike Commire had a successful career and is married to pop star Hilary Duff.  

And at least Richards’ teammate Sean Avery hasn’t said anything yet about this supposed relationship. I mean, he hasn’t had anything to do with Munn like he did with Elisha Cuthbert and then Calgary Flames defenseman Dion Phaneuf.  

So, I say good for you, Brad.

Lavish in your new celebrity playing in New York City for the Rangers. Only good things can come from being in the limelight that comes when you are romantically involved with a Hollywood actress.
