Frank Gore Injury: Updates on 49ers Star's Week 11 Status and Fantasy Value
San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore left the team's game against the New York Giants on Sunday with ankle and knee injuries. Although head coach Jim Harbaugh is confident about Gore's chances of playing vs. the Arizona Cardinals, fantasy owners will need to monitor his status closely.
Keep checking back to this page throughout the week for updates on Gore's availability, potential workload and fantasy value for Week 11.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The San Francisco Chronicle has a quote from Coach Jim Harbaugh with positive news on Gore's health.
""I would plan on (Gore) playing, but you just feel like right now that we've got a stable of backs," Harbaugh said. "We've got Frank Gore. We've got Kendall Hunter. We've got fresh legs in Anthony Dixon. This bodes really well for our football team."
"
This is mildly concerning for fantasy purposes as he may lean on his other two backs a bit more if Gore isn't 100 percent ready.

Matthew Barrows of the Sacramento Bee passed along a post-game quote from Gore which should make 49er fans and fantasy players happy. It sounds like Gore was prepared to reenter yesterday's game, but the coaching staff wasn't willing to risk further injury.
"Frank Gore on Sunday downplayed a knee injury that limited him to six carries overall and a single play in the second half. Gore, who entered the game with a sprained left ankle, suffered a knee injury in the second quarter.
"I'll be fine," he said. "I could have played, but (running backs) coach (Tom) Rathman didn't want me to play. Be smart – he said we've got a long season."
"
At least for now it sounds like Gore will have no problem suiting up against Arizona. It's a little concerning that Harbaugh and Co. were so quick to pull the plug, though. Hopefully more will be known once practice heats up again this week.
