Manny Pacquiao: Juan Manuel Marquez's Frustration Will Lead to 4th Fight
In three fights between WBO Welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, nothing has been settled.
That’s why the fans, boxing officials and these two men need a fourth fight.
There is no doubt that Manny Pacquiao is one of the greatest boxers of all time, but Marquez just has the perfect style to give Pac-Man fits and it’s priceless to watch.
It’s like the two were built to fight each other and if they would agree to a fourth fight, Marquez would absolutely be ready for another shot at it.
Marquez told ESPN boxing insider Dan Rafael about his feeling towards the decision in his fight:
"This is the second robbery of the two that we had, and I think this was even more clear than the first. We won with the clearer punches. The audience protested because they saw us win again. I thought I got robbed. It happens again and again. I don't know what else I can do to win. I've always confided in this commission here, but this has been a robbery in the utmost.
"
It’s obvious that Marquez would love another chance at dethroning Pacquiao and avenging his losses, and he may get his wish.
With Floyd Mayweather notorious for dragging his feet when it come to fighting Pacquiao, the lack of an opponent and interest in a fourth meeting may force Pac-Man to fight Marquez in an immediate rematch.
This trilogy has already been one of the best in the history of boxing and another chapter would only build the hype around these fights.
I think Manny would win again, but there is nothing I have seen that would say it would be anything but another 12-round controversial decision in Manny’s favor.
