NFL Power Rankings Week 11: Biggest Busts Who Will Drop

Ryan RudnanskyNov 14, 2011

One second you're on top of the world, the next you find yourself plummeting down a mountain.

So was the fate of three playoff contenders in Week 10 who took success for granted then paid the price.

The Baltimore Ravens, for example, had just defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers for the series sweep, but proceeded to lose to Tarvaris Jackson and the Seattle Seahawks.

Here are the biggest busts of Week 10 who will drop in the power rankings.

3. Detroit Lions (6-3)

After winning their first five games, the Lions have been plummeting ever since the San Francisco 49ers shocked them in Week 6.

The Lions have lost three of their last four games, with their only win coming against the Denver Broncos.

Young quarterback Matthew Stafford threw four interceptions against the Chicago Bears in Week 10, two of which were returned for touchdowns.

The Bears scored just 16 points as an offense, but scored three touchdowns on interceptions returns and an 82-yard punt return by Devin Hester.

The Lions are beating themselves right now.

2. Buffalo Bills (5-4)

When the Bills don't score a lot of points, they are in trouble.

After giving up 27 points to the New York Jets in Week 9, the Bills gave up 44 points to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10.

To make matters worse, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, coming off an extension, has thrown five interceptions in his last two games.

The Bills aren't looking like the up-and-coming team we thought they were early in the season and need to turn things around fast.

1. Baltimore Ravens (6-3)

I just cannot figure the Ravens out.

Headed into their matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10, I saw the Ravens as a potential Super Bowl team with a dominant defense and a quarterback in Joe Flacco who appeared to be coming out of his slump.

But this offense continues to disappoint, scoring 17 points against the Seahawks after scoring seven points against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 7.

Flacco averaged 4.9 yards per attempt against the Seahawks and threw for as many touchdowns as running back Ray Rice (one).

Flacco needs to start stepping up or it won't matter how good this defense is in the end.
