BCS Rankings: Michigan and Top 25 Teams That Will Lose in Week 12
Six ranked teams fell on Saturday, and while I'm not expecting that much chaos this week, several top 25 teams will go down.
These three ranked teams will lose in Week 12.
No. 18 Michigan Wolverines
After winning their first six games of the season, the Wolverines have dropped two of their last four.
I think they will lose again this week when they take on No. 16 Nebraska. Both teams have dangerous dual-threat quarterbacks, but I trust Taylor Martinez more than Denard Robinson at this point.
In his last five games, Robinson has thrown more interceptions (seven) than touchdowns (five). He's been picked off 13 times this season, which is tied for fourth most in the country.
It will be a close game, but eventually, Robinson will throw an interception that will cripple his team.
Final Prediction: Nebraska 30, Michigan 24
No 21. Penn State Nittany Lions
It's really unfortunate that an entire team has to suffer because one horrible person is associated with the program, but it happens.
After the Jerry Sandusky scandal, it was pretty obvious that Penn State was in for a rough end to their season.
They lost their first game without legendary coach Joe Paterno, and I'm expecting them to drop again this week against Ohio State.
The Buckeyes have already beaten two ranked opponents. In Week 12, they'll capitalize on the chaos in Happy Valley.
Final Prediction: Ohio State 24, Penn State 14
No. 22 Baylor Bulldogs
Baylor has a chance to ruin No. 5 Oklahoma's national title hopes, but I don't think it will happen.
Robert Griffin III will cause major problems for the Sooners defense. The junior quarterback is seventh in the nation with 3,039 passing yards and has racked up 32 total touchdowns this season.
However, I don't think he can outgun Landry Jones and Oklahoma.
Final Prediction: Oklahoma 45, Baylor 31
