Sidney Rice Injury: Update on Seattle Seahawks' Star Injury
The Seahawks season has not gone well as it is, an apparent injury to star WR Sidney Rice is exactly the thing to make it worse. Rice was driven, head first into the turf at Qwest Field and suffered an apparent head injury.
Fantasy Impact:
Not many people are depending on the Seahawks for fantasy numbers, but Rice is one of the few. Fantasy owners will have to make an adjustment as head injuries could lead to missing multiple games due to NFL precautions.

Who's the Backup?:
Golden Tate could be a nice backup for Rice, he isn't nearly as big, but he certainly has breakaway speed. He is a likely replacement for Rice. Rookie Doug Baldwin is also an option. He has had a surprisingly good rookie season.
Devastation Scale: 7/10
Rice is the best and most dangerous deep threat the Seahawks have. Any time you take that away from a team, it's big. Rice is often injured over the past two seasons, in Seattle and Minnesota. The Seahawks must now turned to less-experienced WRs, with an unproven QB situation.
What They're Saying
John P. Boyle of the Seattle Herald is reporting that Sidney Rice is being checked for a concussion.
