Mario Manningham Video: Watch NY Giants WR's Unreal TD Catch in Back of End Zone

New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham caught a fantastic touchdown from a perfectly thrown ball by quarterback Eli Manning late in the third quarter Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Manningham made a great diving catch and was able to drag both feet as he fell out of bounds in the far corner of the end zone, able to beat San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver on the play for a 13-yard score.

The touchdown put the Giants up 13-12 with about two-and-a-half minutes left in the third quarter.

Manningham's status was not certain Sunday morning due to a nagging knee injury, but was activated in time for the Week 10 matchup.

Since Steve Smith moved on to the Philadelphia Eagles over the summer, Manningham has become the Giants' No. 2 wideout behind Hakeem Nicks.

Coming into Week 10 Manningham had 27 receptions for 323 yards and two touchdowns. With Sunday's touchdown catch, Manningham has caught at least one touchdown pass in each of the last three games.

Manning has played like an elite quarterback this season, and had only thrown six interceptions coming into Sunday's road game against the 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers won the game 27-20 to improve to 8-1 on the season, and maintain their large lead in the NFC West division.

The loss dropped the Giants to 6-3, and their lead has shrunk in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys winning this week against the Seattle Seahawks and improving to 5-4 on the season.
