Chris Johnson: Glass Half Full for CJ with Week 10 Breakout Performance

After struggling to get anything done this entire season, Chris Johnson looked like himself for the first time. A 130-yard day to go along with a touchdown and 44 yards receiving, Johnson was not only back on track but for ready to produce for the rest of the season.

Since the start of the season, Johnson has had just one 100-yard game yet he has played in each game this season. Not once had CJ sat out a game this season, yet he has just 496 yards on the season running the football.

Yet, what many forget is that Johnson was receiving as little as 14 carries a game for much of the season, whereas in today's contest he ran the ball 27 different times and had a total of 31 touches on offense.

What made these numbers all the more impressive?

Of the 130 rushing yards in the victory over the Carolina Panthers, 104 of them were earned in the second half.

With 194 yards on the ground, 90 yards receiving and a rushing touchdown over the last two weeks, it can be said that Johnson is finally back and ready to produce yet again.

The key factor that will help Johnson to keep putting up the numbers: the Titans go up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills in the two of the next three weeks. The Bills are the No. 19 rushing defense in the league while the Buccaneers are a mere No. 26.

It is also important to consider that the Titans are still more than capable of making a run in their division, with the Houston Texans not all that far ahead in the standings. Not to mention, the Titans get to finish the season at Houston, with a chance to close in one game closer.

Expect CJ to get back to his usual self, and put up these numbers on a regular basis going forward, as weak opposing defenses against the run and a need to win games will have CJ ready to produce.
