Michael Vick Injury: Update on Philadelphia Star's Rib Injury

Michael Vick took a scary looking shot to the ribs in the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday afternoon battle with the Arizona Cardinals.

Fortunately, it looks like the injury isn’t serious and the brittle QB just had the wind knocked out of him according to Adam Caplan.

Paris Lenon got a piece of Vick’s stomach with his helmet and he is very lucky that he isn’t more injured.

Vick is extremely injury prone and you never know how it will affect him or if it is indeed more serious than just taking a hard shot. We will keep you updated here throughout the game if anything else breaks on this injury.

Fantasy Impact

Vick was a first-round draft pick in nearly every league, but has not been living up to his preseason hype.

This is mainly because he keeps getting injured seemingly every game for at least a few plays and he keeps making mistakes.

Luckily, Vick will return in this close game and should get a few more chances to score.

If it is indeed just the wind being knocked out of the Eagles’ franchise QB, there’s nothing to worry about. He just needs to be more careful about taking shots like that.
