Nebraska vs. Penn State: Live Twitter Reaction Following Epic Big Ten Clash

Nebraska was able to take down a distracted Penn State team, but from the time the players entered Beaver Stadium to Jay Paterno's emotional interview, it was clear that this was no average game.

The players and fans' attempt at normalcy fell short. Though the game has ended the media firestorm surrounding this matchup is nowhere near over.

The world is weighing in via Twitter and here is what they had to say:

Twitter is buzzing about Tom Bradley. Bradley answered a medley of questions about Jay Paterno, today's game and some of the events that occurred today during his post-game press conference.

Given the circumstances, his ability to step in and take command of a program in such disarray is impressive.

SportsbyBrooks.com Tweeted that a Penn State grad toting a "put abused kids first" sign was showered with beer, cursed and slapped by fans.

The scandal has drawn outrageous behavior from a number of groups and this is another negative portrayal the university cannot afford to have, as they look to distance themselves from the image they have created over the course of the past week.

Rebekah Phelps-Roper, a member of the Westboro Baptist Church responded to an angry Tweet form a Penn State fan.

While there are many highly scrutinized figures involved in this scandal, this church's distasteful protest has irked almost everyone.

StateCollege's Ben Jones adds to the notion that the losing result on the scoreboard is irrelevant. The Penn State community was devastated by the scandal, but were able to come together and can seemingly start the process of healing and moving forward from the biggest scandal in the history of sports.

Peegs.com's Jeff Rabjohns commends Tom Bradley for the poise he put on display today. He took on the daunting task of grabbing the helm of a sinking ship and even though Penn State didn't put together a victory, Bradley fared well in his PSU debut, given the circumstances.
