NFL Picks Week 10: Teams on Upset Alert This Weekend
The potential of an upset is always detrimental to an NFL team, and in this league nobody is ever safe just because of what they have accomplished thus far this season. There are many teams that could be upset on the road this week, while others have a chance of being upset at home. Here is a look at the teams that are upset alert this weekend.
Detroit Lions
The Lions will be playing the Chicago Bears this weekend in Chicago. Although the Lions handled the Bears relatively well back in Week 5, this Bears team has made great strides while riding a three-game winning streak. The stakes are also high in this game, as both teams trail the undefeated Green Bay Packers, while fighting to contend for one of the NFC wild card spots.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Quarterback Jay Cutler has been getting better with each week, and there is no denying what running back Matt Forte can do once he is given the ball. Still, the Lions do have a strong front seven, and that is one area where the Bears offensive line must succeed.
The Lions have all the right pieces in place with Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Jahvid Best. The Bears need to focus on shutting these three down, which of course is easier said than done. At home though, the Bears will get the best of the Lions and will claim a victory for Chicago.
San Francisco 49ers
Coach Jon Harbaugh has the 49ers off to their hottest start in a very long time, and with a 7-1 record it is hard to go against them. Especially at home. The New York Giants are coming into San Francisco, and they have upset all over their mind. Quarterback Eli Manning has been working all season to defeat his critics, and he is turning out to look like a legit Super Bowl-caliber quarterback that he was expected to be.
The 49ers are playing fantastic ball, but the Giants can really trip them up. The Giants lead the NFL with 28 sacks on the season, and look for them to continue to invade the quarterback. Alex Smith still has much to prove, despite the 49ers having great success. If the Giants can disrupt the 49ers pass offense, they will just have to focus on running back Frank Gore. The thing is, we know that the Giants can get into the backfield. The 49ers are playing great, but look for the Giants to disrupt the party.
Kansas City Chiefs
While the Chiefs are off to 4-1 record in their last five games, the Denver Broncos will be looking to get another win under their and quarterback Tim Tebow's belts. Tebow has had some good performances against middle of the road teams, and following all the criticism that has been said about his future, he will be looking to prove himself. If anyone has the will and drive to do so, that man would be Tebow.
The Chiefs have been winning, but with mixed results. Sometimes it has been pretty much a shutout, while others have been down to the wire. It will take a huge performance from quarterback Matt Cassel on offense, as well as one from the Chiefs defense to stop the dual threat of Tebow. Look for Tebow to upset the Chiefs on the road this week, as he continues to try and fight to prove he is an NFL quarterback.
