Week 10 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em: Tim Tebow, Matt Moore or Alex Smith?

If you have Tim Tebow, Matt Moore and Alex Smith you are entertained with an intriguing option for Week 10 of fantasy football. I’ll dissect each option, their match-ups and who I would choose.

Tim Tebow

I have been a believer of Tim Tebow, and I haven’t once said he couldn’t be a starter in the NFL. Can he win playoff games? I wouldn’t commit to answering that quite yet.

He does, however give the Denver Broncos the best opportunity to win football games. Despite getting torched for his horrible passing numbers, Tebow hasn’t been a bad option in fantasy football, especially in leagues with running yards tallying more points. Tebow has 536 yards and six touchdowns through the air and 277 yards and one score on the ground.

Kansas City is 21^st against the pass and 18^th against the rush. Tebow should have a productive day fantasy wise, depending on your league. That doesn’t mean the Broncos will win, though.

Matt Moore

Matt Moore has been an inconsistent quarterback throughout his career in the NFL. He can either throw three touchdowns and no interceptions or do exactly the opposite.

It’s going to depend on their matchup and they got Washington in Week 10. The Redskins defense is 11^th against the pass. Washington, as a whole, has lost four straight games.

You would think that Moore could use what he did against the Kansas City Chiefs last week (3 TDs 0 INTs) and work it into his confidence in this one. However, you would think that the pride of the Redskins would show up eventually, right?

It is a risk/reward type of situation.

Alex Smith

If Alex Smith is your quarterback you are probably in trouble in fantasy football unless you are absolutely stacked at other positions. At least he’s protecting the football, right?

He’s done enough to push the San Francisco 49ers to a 7-1 record, but he isn’t the best fantasy option this week against the New York Giants.

The defensive line of the Giants will give the 49ers fits all day long causing Smith to have a poor day.

If I had these three quarterbacks I would take the risk on using Tebow with Moore being the next option. Tebow gives you more opportunities to score points, especially in a run-heavy type of league.
