Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3: Why Marquez Won't Even Win One Round

Justin WeltonNov 12, 2011

Juan Manuel Marquez will be too overwhelmed by Manny Pacquiao in tonight’s fight. Pac-Man will come out more determined than ever, to not only defeat Marquez, but also destroy him. It will be complete domination from start to finish, so much so that Marquez won’t even win one round.

Marquez is fighting at a heavier weight (142 lbs) than he would prefer. He is used to fighting several pounds lighter than that.

Only a few boxers have the ability to go up in a weight class and be successful and Marquez isn’t one of those people. If anything, his strength and muscle mass could actually be his downfall.

It may inspire him to believe that he can go toe-to-toe, punch-for-punch with the great Pacquiao. If that is indeed his strategy, it will be a long night for Marquez.

According to the man himself, we have heard for years now that Marquez should have been given better results in their two previous fights. Pacquiao was forced to listen to the jabber for years, but tonight the talk will finally come to a screeching halt.

Pac-Man will end the talks of who the better fighter is in dominating fashion, sending Marquez to the brink of retirement. Marquez will be unable to win one round against one of the top fighters in the world.

This fight will accomplish one thing and one thing only: it will leave fans wanting and hoping to see Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather in the near future.
