Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez: Why Pac-Man Will End Fight with KO Early

Justin WeltonNov 12, 2011

The day has finally arrived. Manny Pacquiao has been waiting months to shut Juan Manuel Marquez up, and we will finally see it tonight. Pac-Man will prove that he is head-and-shoulders better than Marquez after he defeats him with a knockout early in the fight.

His footwork, speed, power, explosiveness will all be on-call during their third fight. Pac-Man is tired of hearing Marquez talk about how he feels he won the first two fights. It’s time for Pacquiao to close the final chapter of this book, and he’s going to do it in a big way—knockout.

Marquez coming in fighting at 142 lbs will be a major factor to why he will lose—he’s never fought at this weight. He is a 135 lb fighter that is moving up. There aren’t too many people that can do that, Pacquiao being one of those men.

I believe that Marquez adding so many pounds of muscle since his last fight will give him reasons to stand toe-to-toe will the great Pacquiao.

Poor decision.

Pacquiao will be motivated for this fight unlike any time in his career. He’s sick and tired of hearing Marquez speak about unfair results in their previous fights, and he will come up firing in the very first round. If Marquez comes out of the gate with the same approach, it could be an early night for Marquez.

It’s going to be domination form start-to-finish. Marquez won’t even win a round. Pac-Man will come out strong early, landing the majority of the combined punches thrown. He’ll continue to wear Marquez down, and the knockout punch will finally come a few rounds later.

Pacquiao makes a major statement in tonight’s fight. As the heavy favorite, he’ll prove why he is one of the best fighters in the world. Boxing fans will be in thought about a future fight Pac-Man fight with Floyd Mayweather as soon as the fight ends. It’s what everyone wants to see. The sport of boxing needs to make it happen somehow, someway. Will it happen? Time will tell.
