Pacquiao vs. Marquez III: Why Marquez Will Pull off Stunning Upset
Juan Manuel Marquez will face Manny Pacquiao for the third time on Saturday night, and the Mexican has a couple ways he could beat Pac-Man and pull off a stunning upset.
Marquez is going into this anticipated fight with a ton of confidence, which is not something many opponents of Pacquiao have.
He will feel comfortable in the ring with Pac-Man because of his prior experience against him. There likely won't be anything new from Pacquiao that Marquez has not seen before, and this will surely help him during this bout.
Over the course of their previous two fights, Marquez has not been much worse than Pacquiao, and has gotten back up from multiple knockouts.
Marquez knows how to fight Pacquiao, and he won't have to learn on the fly and make major adjustments accordingly. He knows what he's getting into when he steps into the ring versus Pac-Man.
Marquez also knows that the possibility of a future Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather fight could make Pac-Man look ahead of Marquez.
If Pacquiao isn't totally focused for this fight he could be upset by Marquez. At 38 years old, Marquez is a veteran fighter who knows how to stay in fights, and when Pacquiao makes a mistake, Marquez will punish him.
Having years of great fighting experience plus loads of confidence is something very few boxers have taken into the ring against Pacquiao.
Marquez knows this is last shot at Pac-Man, and he has gotten stronger in his training sessions and has been dedicated to this fight.
This is a major bout for him, and he won't get another shot at Pacquiao after this if he loses.
Marquez has what it takes to beat Pacquiao, and don't be surprised if the veteran fighter pulls of a stunning upset in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
