NFL Week 10 Picks: Why New York Jets Will Take Control of AFC East
The AFC West is up for grabs, but the New York Jets will be the only team grasping and holding on in Week 10.
We are fond of calling the NFL season a sprint rather than a marathon. Blah, blah. It is still a long and arduous road, one on which a team can look like Super Bowl shoe-ins one week and tenuous playoff contenders the next.
Such is the life of the New England Patriots. It wasn't too long ago that we were anointing them as untouchable, even with the knowledge that their defense was abysmal.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
This week, we will finally get some order to the AFC East, only it won't be the order that we expected a few weeks ago.
Buffalo Bills: The Bills are tied with the other powers of the East and take on the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. The Bills' stagnation on offense combined with the surging running game of the Cowboys will serve to do the Bills in.
By the end of the game, the Bills will be a game back from the top of the division. No worries, they will not be alone in their fate.
Patriots at Jets: One of the best rivalries in the NFL will have another chapter unfold this Sunday in the marquee game.
The Jets are hot at the moment. Still without a consistent attack on the ground, Rex Ryan's boys are once again combining shutdown defense with timely passing.
Meanwhile, the Patriots are still employing the same tired strategy they had at the beginning of the season. I say tired only because the offense is stalling and the defense that was once a cute little issue is now a three-alarm fire.
Every quarterback that goes against them lately becomes elite. Until they prove they can at the very least slow dynamic passing attacks, I have them losing these close matchups.
The Jets get a close win and control of the division. If the Patriots don't address their secondary, the Jets' hold on the AFC East will be permanent.
