Week 10 Fantasy Rankings: Brandon Marshall and Big Name WRs to Bench
Receivers have bad days for different reasons. Sometimes, even veteran quarterbacks just lock onto one or two guys who are having a good day. Other times, the opposing defense (or, at least, opposing cornerback) is just very good. Lastly, there is always the possibility that your offense or quarterback just isn't that good.
At any rate, even the best receivers find themselves in bad matchups and should be on your bench. If you own these guys, take a look at your situation and see if you have the ability to bench them.
I know that the week has already started, so you probably can't bring in anyone new. But if you can or want to take a gamble on a bench player, do it.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
As a general rule, I just don't like any member of the Miami offense. Reggie Bush is an occasional exception, but this is not a good unit. The 31 points we saw versus Kansas City is not even close to what we're going to get out of them for the rest of the year.
I like Washington's defense. The team is absolutely crumbling, but they remain a strong unit. I see a great group of pass rushers pressuring Matt Moore and forcing early releases. As a result, his receivers will suffer.
I feel weird saying this, but when he's on, Fitzgerald is as good as anyone in the league. The problem is that the guys throwing him the ball aren't that good.
Fitzgerald's numbers just haven't been that great this year. His performance in Week 9 looked a little better with a touchdown catch, but was otherwise bad.
Against the Philadelphia secondary with John Skelton under center, I can't see Fitzgerald doing any better.
Rice is likely to play, but the fact that he's clearly going to be a little banged up is troubling.
What's also troubling is that he's going against the Baltimore defense and is part of a terrible passing offense.
Rice has had a hit-or-miss season in Seattle. This week is a likely miss. Keep Rice on the bench.
