Week 10 Fantasy Football Rankings: Reggie Bush and Sleeper RBs Worth Playing

Michael DixonNov 10, 2011

There may not be a more unpredictable position than running back. Especially in a passing league, it's just hard to count on production at anything close to a consistent rate.

Still, I believe that there are some guys to count on this week. They aren't available in the majority of leagues, but they aren't starting in the majority of leagues either.

If they are on your bench, change that.

Reggie Bush

I really can't believe that I am writing this. But Bush's last few games have been very effective, and he's perfectly capable of passing catches.

The Dolphins will have no choice but to run the ball and avoid the Washington pass-rush. They simply don't have a passing game to rely on anything consistently going downfield.

Two weeks ago, Bush hit 100 yards. Last week, he eclipsed 90 and scored a touchdown.

Willis McGahee

How it is that this guy is starting in fewer than half of ESPN leagues is beyond me, but he is. McGahee smoked the Raiders last week and is now going against the same team that Bush torched last week, the Chiefs.

With Tim Tebow at quarterback, they have no choice but to feature a heavy running game. That's where McGahee enters the picture.

When he's been on the field, McGahee has been solid. He'll be on the field on Sunday. Play him.

Ben Tate

When Tate has been on the field this year, he's produced in a big way. As Arian Foster's backup, he's gone for over 100 yards in two of the last three games.

Tampa Bay's defense has been very week against the run this season. Foster will certainly be the featured back, but Tate will see plenty of action.

On the road, running is generally a good strategy. When you have backs as good as the ones that the Texans have, there is no reason to deviate.

Look for a few big plays from Tate against Tampa Bay. Another 100 yard (or close) performance wouldn't be at all surprising. It also wouldn't be surprising to see him put one in the end zone.
