Week 10 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em: Tim Tebow and QBs You Must Sit

T.J. McaloonNov 10, 2011

We are getting closer and closer to the fantasy football playoffs, and now is not the time when you can make a fatal mistake to your fantasy roster. It is why you cannot start players like Tim Tebow this week.

Yes, Tebow is a threat to score big points every single week. But he will suffer this week, which will make your team suffer in the long run.

However, he is not the only person that you should not start this week. There are players that are just like Tebow, who will have a horrible week this week, thus putting you at an epic disadvantage.

Here are those three players that you have to sit.

Tim Tebow

Tebow is such a hot and cold starter. One week he can score you 25 points, but the next week score your 10. He can look like another quarterback like Michael Vick, or he can look like a quarterback like Kyle Bowler.

This week against the Kansas City Chiefs, who were embarrassed last week in their game against the Miami Dolphins. He will face a defense that will look to prove that they aren’t a bad team.

Tebow will struggle to complete passes again, and will not have the ability to be successful outside of the pocket.

Brady has been a frustrating quarterback over the last few weeks. He’s had good games, but not “Brady” good. What that means is that he is capable of putting up monster numbers like, 400 yards three touchdowns, but comes away with 250 to 275 yards and two touchdowns.

This week, he faces a New York Jets team that always seems to frustrate him. He will get pressured a lot, and it will show on his final stat line.

You can expect another game of 250 to 285 yards, and one to two touchdowns.

Jay Cutler has looked like a good quarterback to have on your fantasy roster these last few weeks. His offensive line has kept his jersey clean, and he’s been able to find receivers downfield.

However, this week against a good Detroit Lions defense, he will face a pass rush that will put him on his back a lot, and he will struggle.

Stay away from Cutler, as he will revert back to his old form of throwing a lot of interceptions and fail to throw a touchdown pass.

Three quarterbacks that you have to stay away from this week. Look to your bench for help or the waiver wire this week if you want to win your Week 10 game.
