Report: Outspoken Radio Host Charges Sandusky with Pimping out Boys

Is there any way that former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky's alleged sex crimes could shock and appall us anymore?

Yes, actually, there may be.

Sportswriter and talk show host Mark Madden went on the radio today and launched the following rumor into the Penn State sex scandal atmosphere, according to Tony Manfred of Business Insider (a link to the radio show can be heard here):

"

I hear a rumor that there will be a shocking development from the Second Miles Foundation...That Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors.

"

Manfred goes on to question Madden's credibility on the rumor, but also offers a bit of credence to it as well:

"

We'd say this is ridiculous, and that you should take it with a grain of salt. But Madden actually wrote about Sandusky for the Beaver County Times six months ago—long before the scandal blindsided everyone else this week.

Madden also claimed Sandusky was forced out of Penn State in 1999.

"

This wouldn't be the first time we've heard that Sandusky was "forced" out of Penn State at the age of 55.

Deadspin cited a report that one of the alleged victims was in a room with Sandusky and Joe Paterno when the former head coach told the former defensive coordinator he would not be taking over as head coach at Penn State:

"

[This victim] remembers Sandusky being emotionally upset after having a meeting with Joe Paterno in which Paterno told Sandusky he would not be the next head coach at Penn State and which preceded Sandusky's retirement. Sandusky told the victim not to tell anyone about the meeting. That meeting occurred in May 1999.

"

Piecing things together as best we can without accusing anyone of anything, there is some evidence to suggest that Madden might not be far off on this.

Only time will tell, but the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal is far from over.
