TNA Impact Wrestling Preview: The Go-Home Episode Before Turning Point
TNA Impact Wrestling presents its go-home episode tonight as the Turning Point pay-per-view is this Sunday.
TNA has confirmed four matches and what is sure to be an in-ring segment for the show.
So let’s get started.
Eric Young and Ronnie vs. Robbie E and Rob Terry
Despite not much attention being placed on it until recently, Eric Young and Robbie E have been feuding over the TNA Television Championship for a few months.
A couple of months ago Robbie failed in his attempt to dethrone Young as champion, so he and Rob Terry attacked the champ post-match.
Then nothing.
TNA didn’t follow up until a few weeks ago when Robbie lost again, and they again attacked EY post-match.
Last week on Impact Wrestling, Ronnie from the Jersey Shore appeared alongside the champion as his backup, and the four got into it.
Tonight we’ll get to see Ronnie in the ring with the professionals as he teams with the TV Champion to take on Robbie E and his muscle Rob Terry.
Who will come out victorious?
Gail Kim and Madison Rayne vs. Velvet Sky and Mickie James: Knockout’s Tag Titles
Last week the team of Gail Kim and Madison Rayne defeated Tara and Brooke Tessmacher to win the TNA Knockout’s Tag Team Titles.
The vice president of the Knockout’s Division, Karen Jarrett, is gaining more power in the division now that she has added some gold to her little stable. Thanks to her lackey and her muscle, Karen may soon be unstoppable.
She will be the Knockout powerhouse if Gail is able to knock off Velvet Sky for the Knockout’s Title this Sunday at Turning Point.
First she must retain her own title as she and Madison much defend their newly won belts against Velvet and Mickie James.
Can Karen’s group help keep her on top, or will she be derailed by the two women she hates the most?
Jeff Jarrett, Bully Ray and Scott Steiner vs. Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson and A Mystery Partner
Ever since Jeff Hardy returned, Jeff Jarrett has been there to berate him and tell him to leave TNA forever.
Hardy would defend himself, and the two have brawled on multiple occasions.
Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson have been feuding since July, and it’s only a matter of time before one of them ends up in the hospital.
Scott Steiner, on the other hand, has pretty much been an Immortal lackey. With him as their partner, though, that opens up quite a few possibilities to who Hardy’s and Anderson’s partner is.
It could be anyone that Immortal has wronged, which is a long list.
Who will be their partner of choice, and will it help take down the already weakened Immortal?
A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels
Yes, you read that correctly. These two are wrestling again.
In this current feud, A.J. Styles is up 2-1, but Christopher Daniels refuses to believe he lost the I Quit Match at Bound for Glory. I was there, and I assure you, it was no recording of Daniels’ voice as he so claims.
So clearly Daniels has lost his mind to a certain degree.
We have to factor Rob Van Dam into this match, as he’s currently feuding with Daniels.
Who will win this latest, and hopefully last, encounter? Will Rob Van Dam get involved? We’ll just have to wait and see.
James Storm Responds to Bobby Roode’s Betrayal
At Bound for Glory, Bobby Roode came up short in winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship due to Kurt Angle’s cheating ways.
Days later, James Storm defeated Angle to win the title. Roode was happy for his tag team partner, but it seems like jealousy was growing inside of him.
Last week, Storm gave him a shot at the title, and Roode came out as the new champion. To do so, though, he smashed a beer bottle over his head.
He betrayed his longtime partner for a chance to be champion.
How will James Storm respond to Bobby Roode’s actions?
TNA rarely disappoints when it comes to its go-home episodes before PPVs. This one should be no different.
Tune in tonight to find out what happens!
