Manny Pacquiao: Shane Mosley Predicts a Pac-Man Win by Knockout

Add "Sugar" Shane Mosley to the long list of people who predict Manny Pacquiao will knock out Juan Manuel Marquez.

In a recent interview, Mosley gave his prediction for the November 12 bout:

"

“I think that he’s too small,” Mosley told BoxingHype.com. “When Pacquiao catches him, if Pacquiao has the same stuff that he had with me, if he catches him with a touch, then Marquez is going down.”

"

Mosley continued, a little more seriously:

"

“If [Floyd] Mayweather can drop Marquez easily like that, if [Michael] Katsidis can stun him like that at lightweight, Pacquiao, when he hits him... he’s going to hurt Marquez. Marquez said he’s not going to run like Shane and he’s going to fight and all that [expletive], so he’s asking for it. He’s gonna have his [expletive] knocked out by what he’s doing.”

"

Certainly strong words from the 40-year-old Mosley, but he knows firsthand what it's like to enter the ring with Manny Pacquiao. 

That's a viewpoint that we'll never get, and not many guys who have that view will talk about it, so we have to take Mosley's thoughts seriously. He continued to stress Pacquiao's advantages:

“Now, Pacquiao is a full-fledged welterweight, you know. His [expletive] is almost that of a junior middleweight... his legs are big, he’s built up, so Marquez is going to have problems. As far as the punches are concerned, he just touches you and you’re [expletive] bruised up." 

"

In case you needed more evidence that Pacquiao was going to dominate this fight, here you have it. Pac-Man "[expletive] bruises guys up."

Of course, Mosley went on to say later in the interview that he is physically stronger than Pacquiao, and you know "Sugar" loves to hear himself talk, so you have to take his words with a grain of salt. 

Still, this is man went toe-to-toe with Pac-Man, so Mosley knows exactly what Pacquiao is capable of. 

We'll see on Saturday if Mosley predicts Manny Pacquiao fights better than he participates in them.
