The Oakland Raiders (4-4) and San Diego Chargers (4-4) will both be looking to snap losing streaks Thursday night inside Qualcomm Stadium, as both will be playing on four days rest.

Oddsmakers opened the Chargers as 6.5-point home favorites, only to see that number move up a half point in this AFC West showdown with the confirmation that Raiders running back Darren McFadden will be missing his second game of the season.

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey was really making some strides this year after catching just 35 combined passes in his first two seasons.

All of that changed when quarterback Jason Campbell went down with injury, with many speculating if he was benched by head coach Hue Jackson due to seeing action on just 12 snaps in last week's 38-24 loss to the Denver Broncos.

One of the main reasons in liking this proposition wager is the fact that Oakland Raiders wide receiver Jacoby Ford could go over the number in one play.

The second-year player out of Clemson is averaging 16.8 yards per catch during his NFL career thus far, while catching five passes for 105 yards in his first full game with Carson Palmer in the huddle.

Philip Rivers, Throw Touchdown or Interception First

San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers is suffering through a nightmarish season through eight games, leading the league with 14 interceptions.

That particular number gives us value in the betting market, as I suspect that he throws for a score before potentially adding onto that total. 

After all, last week's three-interception performance against the Green Bay Packers was the first of his career.

Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski is a major weapon in the kicking game, especially in terms of kicking the ball off to the other team.

He's not 100 percent in dealing with a hamstring injury, but should have the San Diego Chargers kneeling the ball in the end zone when getting the opportunity to kick off.

The San Diego Chargers are missing Darren Sproles in the return game, something that gives us another edge when making this prop bet.
