NFL Week 10 Predictions: Projecting the Most Impressive QB Performances

Chris TrapassoNov 9, 2011

Which quarterbacks will be the most impressive in Week 10?

With no bye weeks, all the top signal-callers are back in the mix.

Let's take a look.

(I'll exclude Aaron Rodgers, because, obviously, he's the best quarterback on the planet and shouldn't have any issues against the Vikings.)

Cam Newton

He's coming off the bye and should continue his torrid rookie campaign against the Titans at home. Newton has nine interceptions on the year, but he's thrown four touchdowns with no picks in the Panthers' last two games.

Not only will he throw for a respectable amount of yards, but as we've seen, he'll be a terror with his legs and should account for at least two touchdowns on Sunday.

Something tells me that Newton is going to be on these type of lists for a long time.

Vick was shaky in the Eagles' loss to the Bears on Monday Night, but the Cardinals defense isn't nearly as intimidating as Chicago's. They're allowing 272 yards through the air per game and are susceptible to the big play.

DeSean Jackson, anyone?

Expect the Eagles to establish LeSean McCoy early, then work the ball downfield with the play-action pass.

I want to go out on a limb here a bit, with Stafford playing on the road in Chicago. The Bears secondary is far improved from where it was earlier this season, but Stafford should be able to get the ball to Calvin Johnson.

Coming off the bye, they should have new ways to get the ball to their superstar.

This should be a higher-scoring game than we expect, and Stafford should have another big statistical output.
